Yankeetown is a place where time seems to have slowed down. It’s very much the same as it was years ago. Those who visit Yankeetown find that it is “the last of it,” meaning it’s the last of “old Florida .” With 700 residents in the winter, and only 400 in the summertime, you’ll find there is no traffic, no loud noise, and plenty of fresh air.
